Day 1: Hometown – Belize City – San Ignacio
Arrival to our city from the airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. You will be guaranteed your transfer to the Hidden Valley Hotel, where you will be accommodated in Standard Room in Hidden Valley Hotel. In the evening you will be free to dine at your leisure.
Day 2: San Ignacio Actun Tunichil Muknal – San Ignacio
After breakfast Our tour today is a blend of ancient culture and unparalleled adventure, surrounded by history and nature. We'll visit Actun Tunichil Muknal, or the Cave of the Stone Sepulchre, which offers a caving adventure through the sacrifices and rituals of the Mayan civilization, traversing the cave's tunnels and passageways filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Picnic lunch. Return to the hotel. Dinner not included
Day 3: San Ignacio – Caracol – San Ignacio
Breakfast. Visit to Caracol, the largest Mayan archaeological site in Belize, located in the Chiquibul Forest Reserve. Home to 150,000 people, it was larger in both population and area than present-day Belize City. The largest temple at Caracol is Caana, or Sky Place, a massive pyramid that rises over 43 meters above the jungle floor and is the tallest man-made structure in Belize. This site is impressive not only for its size but also for its vast agricultural system and elaborate urban planning; it is one of the most pristine and best-preserved Mayan sites in Belize. Picnic lunch at the site. Return to the hotel. Dinner not included
Day 4: San Ignacio – Plasencia
Breakfast. Transfer by land to the Stann Creek District in southern Belize. The narrow, 29-kilometer-long strip of land begins in the community of Riversdale, continues to Maya Beach, Seine Bight Village, and ends in Placencia Village at its southernmost point. Dinner not included
Day 5: Placencia
Breakfast. Free days to enjoy tranquil beaches, enriching cultural experiences, and the connection with the sea and the rainforest. From Placencia, you can enjoy various water activities such as snorkeling or diving in the famous UNESCO World Heritage reef, one of the most unexplored in the world. You can also go fishing or visit other cayes where you can swim in the calm Caribbean Sea. To the north, the Garifuna community of Seine Bight is an epicenter of percussion music and traditional dances. A paradise known for its relaxed atmosphere, where the locals go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your visit. Accommodation in Standard Room at Itz´Ana Hotel in Plasencia. Dinner not included.
