Day 01: CAIRO
Arrival at Cairo International Airport, assistance in Spanish by our representative before passport control. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 02: CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the included visit to the Three Pyramids of Giza: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple of Khafre. (Entrance inside a pyramid is not included.) Free afternoon for optional sightseeing to the Saqqara Necropolis and the City of Memphis, Capital of the Old Kingdom. In the evening, optional visit to the Light and Sound Show at the Pyramids of Giza. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 03: CAIRO / LUXOR
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day, or you can fly directly to Luxor in the morning, with the possibility of an optional full-day tour of Cairo: the Egyptian Museum of Pharaonic Art, the Citadel of Saladin with its Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, and the Coptic Quarter. In the afternoon, transfer to Cairo International Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to the ship. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 04: LUXOR / ESNA / EDFU
(Full Board) Visit to the East Bank of Luxor: the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Visit to the West Bank of Luxor: the Theban Necropolis, the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut known as Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. At the scheduled time, we will set sail for Esna. We will cross the Esna Lock and continue sailing towards Edfu. Overnight on board.
Day 05: EDFU / KOM OMBO / ASWAN
(Full Board) Arrival in Edfu and visit to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. Sailing to Kom Ombo. Arrival in Kom Ombo and visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, the only temple dedicated to two deities: the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. Sailing to Aswan. Overnight on board.
Day 06: ASWAN
(Full Board) Morning optional excursion to the famous Temples of Abu Simbel. Following this, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Philae Temple. Overnight on board. The optional excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel can be taken on this day or the following day, depending on the schedule of the land transfer from Aswan to Marsa Alam or the schedule of the domestic flight ASW–CAI–SSH the following day.
Day 07: ASWAN / OPTION 1: MARSA ALAM
Breakfast and disembarkation. In the morning, a ride on a felucca along the Nile River (typical Egyptian sailboats) will be undertaken to admire panoramic views of the Aga Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island, and the Botanical Garden.
Option 1: Road transfer to the city of Marsa Alam on the Red Sea coast. Arrival at the hotel.
Option 2: Transfer to Aswan International Airport for your domestic flight ASW–CAI–SSH. Arrival in Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea coast. Transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay. The optional excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel can be done on this day or on the previous day, depending on the timetable of the land transfer from Aswan to Marsa Alam or the timetable of the domestic flight ASW–CAI–SSH on this day.
Days 08 and 09: MARSA ALAM OR SHARM EL SHEIKH
(Half Board) Free days to enjoy the Red Sea beach and the hotel facilities, or to go on optional sightseeing such as 4x4 Desert Safari, Super Desert Safari, quad bike tours in the desert, Bedouin dinner in the desert, Seascop, snorkeling, underwater diving, the Grand Canyon, Ras Muhammad, Tiran Island, Giftun Island, Mahmya, Mount Moses, and St. Catherine's Monastery, etc.
Day 10: MARSA ALAM OR SHARM EL SHEIKH / CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Marsa Alam or Sharm El Sheikh International Airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, optional sightseeing tour with a buffet dinner and show on a boat along the Nile River. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 11: CAIRO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Cairo International Airport, with assistance in Spanish from our representative.
