Day 1: Heraklion / West Crete
Arrival at Heraklion Airport. Pick up of your rental car. Departure towards western Crete. Overnight stay in Rethymnon or the surrounding area.
Day 2: West Crete

Discover traditional villages: Anogia, Zoniana with its magnificent stalactite and stalagmite cave, Margarites with its pottery workshops, and Axos with its Byzantine church.
Day 3: Chania
Free time at the hotel in Rethymnon or the surrounding area.
Discover the Cretan hinterland: the Amari Valley, the village of Meronas, the Patsos Gorge, and the Monastery of Arkadi. Alternatively, explore the southwest region with the village of Spili, the palm grove of Preveli, its monastery, and the Kourtaliotiko Gorge.
Day 4: Chania
Free time at the hotel in Rethymnon or the surrounding area.
Discover western Crete: Lake Kournas, the village of Argiroupolis with its natural springs, and the village of Vryses, famous for its cheeses. Continue to Kalyves and Gavalochori to visit its folklore museum, and Georgioupolis with its beautiful sandy beach.
Day 5: On The Way To The East
Departure towards eastern Crete. Overnight stay in Lassithi or the surrounding area.
Discover the island’s capital, Heraklion: visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos and the Archaeological Museum. Explore the traditional villages of Archanes and Peza, known for their cooperatives, as well as Hersonissos and Malia, lively and festive destinations.
Day 6: Eastern Crete
Free time at the hotel in Lassithi or the surrounding area.
Discover the Lassithi Plateau, located at an altitude of 1,100 metres. Explore the traditional villages of Krasi, Tzermiado, and Avdou. Visit the Church of Panagia Kera Kardiotissa, the eco-park with its weaving and bronze workshops, and the Cave of Zeus at Psychro.
Day 7: Eastern Crete
Free time at the hotel in Lassithi or the surrounding area.
Explore the far east of Crete: visit the town of Sitia, the palm forest of Vai, the Monastery of Toplou, and the seaside village of Kato Zakros with its Minoan Palace. Alternatively, discover the charming town of Agios Nikolaos, the small fishing harbor of Elounda, and the island of Spinalonga.
Day 8: Eastern Crete / Heraklion
